I read the Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand. It's different. It's one of the most unique books I've ever read AND I found it entertaining as well.
My desire to cook petered out a couple of months to go, darn it. But yesterday I was impelled to do watercolor. I made a little picture for Kerri of a design I made for Elements of Magic. I think of it as a representation of the Younger Self. It was infinitely satisfying to work on. The final result was pretty enough to give Kerri, and she was nice enough to like it. :) I'm sure I can do better with practice, watercolor is a very interesting medium. It's not surprising that some of the best parts of the picture came about accidentally, from the union of water, pigment, and paper. The part I can claim is the transparency effect on the wings, which I planned for by using masking fluid. Fun stuff to work with. I feel like doing more watercoloring.
